Chirping Tires on 4.8is

I've noticed from a standstill if I apply full throttle with myself and maybe one other person in car or just by myself I will get a little tire chirp which sounds like its coming from one wheel only. Sounds like its coming from the rear drivers side wheel. Is this normal?

Depends on road condition, if your turning etc.

I can easily chirp tires whenever when i turn dsc off. Maybe not so much if its a hot day, roads flat as a board, and im pulling away straight, but any imperfections can make the wheel not contact all the way and it sure will.

Not sure if your surprised about the the power, or just a concern,

Go to a stop sign turn left or right, turn dsc off and hammer the throttle... have fun

I guess the power surprises me as well as the fact that I'm only hearing one wheel Chirp. On my 06 530i I would rarely get the rear tires to chirp but if I ever did it was always both rear tires. On a turn is another story. All the tires are fairly new on X.

The car doesn't have a limited slip, and is sending power to the rear, wouldn't that cause just one wheel to chirp?

Not sure I follow; are you asserting that the ability to kick the back end out is the same thing as having a LSD?

Sorry the last post is confusing

Post number 4 is refering to lack of lsd because the x5 uses the brakes to limit side to side wheel spin for when your one tire spins (be it ice or snow or just stompin the throttle)

Dsc has the 3 modes on and off and this other halfway mode
If you hold the dsc button it goes into another traction mode that i personaly dont like

The drifting thing is just random rambling
