Cheap tire experience

Have you heard about Altenzo?
Well I just bought a set of 4 new tires.


Yes they are cheap! Got the whole set for $550 !
Read they are not good on wet.
But considering that I'm from the land of sand and dry most of the year, asphalt roads, I bit the bullet.

We'll see how it goes.

Nice on my 328i when I bought her shoes I went fir the cheapest tire set I can find paid 98 bucks each I have raced with them on the track and have went upwards to 220kmh with them and they have held good after 4 years and oh endless of burn outs tire spin when I dragged on the strip lol

That's good to hear then! I thought nobody has tried this rubber yet.

Initial impressions on dry, hot (and of course wee bit of desert sand) asphalt road - it does grip for me. With thanks to my new brake discs and pads...

I put set after set of expensive tires on my cars. Pilot sports, Contis, Pole Positions, you name it. I eventually put a set of the cheapest thing I could find - Sumitomos - on a car short for sale. Short story - loved em! Are they perfect? No. Are they as high performance as the best? No. But One can replace them three times if need be. Glad you liked these, I'll make note for later purchases.

And yeah, after coming from a Dueler RFT, I think the Altenzo gives more comfort to me.
