Lower that axle to the proper height my friend in the rear and it should be better, and measure from lower wheel edge to fender, I know for 20s with sports package is 709mm in rear, not sure on your wheel size, but here is a chart:

_______________ 17"____18"____19"____20"___these are wheel sizes
front axle_______685____697____710____722
rear axle________687____699____712____724
sport fr_________670____682____695____707
sport rr_________672____684____697____709
Where do I need to measure to see if I am at the right height? 697mm= 27.4409 inches. I get 18 +/- from the fender lip to the center of the 19" tim on my sport.

Thanks

re-read my instructions, measurements should be taken from the bottom edge of the wheel (closest edge to the ground) to the fender lip, obviously in the center of the wheel. Do this on level ground with the tire pressures set accurately and let me know your measurement

To make it easier to compare to the chart please convert the inches to mm using google

Missed that.

I'll measure tonight when I get home.

Can I set height using BMW Scan? Don't have my Romanian deal yet.

Thanks.

HOLY SHIT if that is right.

You're about 4 inches higher than stock height if that is the case, no wonder your suspension is so stiff!

Mine feels fine. How can I lower it?

I looked at all the available to me modules in BMW Scanner 1.40 and the one with ride height is unavailable to code outside giving a specific string. I'll take a screen shot tonight when I get home.

You didn't measure from the ground to the fender lip did you? Definitely did wheel edge to just under fender? And that came in at 800mm? That would mean you are 100 mm off, or 4 inches higher than it should be, which means the bags are inflated to increased pressure as well. The car doesn't look weird with the rear end jacked up?

You only have rear air right, not front as well?

And I'm sure you can lower the axle with DIS but don't know about BMW Scanner 1.4, never used it.

Large tape measure ground to folded lip of wheel well above the tire.

Car looks normal, rear air only.

Should be like this (sorry for the MS paint), and you get the idea even though its not an X5 (measure from red line to red line):
