You're missing the pieces on the rear bumper. There're 2 different types.

The one on the iS: (about $175 ea.)
51127046919 driver side
51127046920 passenger side

LeMans style (better for X5 without iS rear bumper kit) A lot cheaper too! (about $20 ea )
51127148517 driver side
51127148518 passenger side

Personally, when installing them, I would NOT use the BMW method of cutting slots and rivets/fateners. I would use small plastic screw. I heard many stories of these pieces coming off on the highway. The ones I put on the old 3.0 stay where they are. Tom (mrbmwX5, who I learnt this from) had them on his old one for years attaching them that way.

The lemans fender arches are different from the IS arches?

Yes if you look at both pictures the lemans arches are "slimmer" near the bottom and wrap under the bumper a bit, the iS arches are fatter at the bottom and kind of end flush with the bottom of the bumper.

Nice comparison tmv for others to know

Thanks J.
As stated in my post, LeMans piece is better for X5 without the iS rear bumper kit.

Even though it can be fitted on the 4.6iS/4.8iS, I think the other one is better.

Again great showcase of the differences, as you can see the "fatness" at the bottom meets up with the rear diffuser of the iS kit. Moral of story? If you have an iS kit being added, get the iS flares so the body lines will meet.

If you don't have an iS kit, you can do both, but honestly, save the 300 bucks and get the Lemans flares, they look more proper on a bumper without the iS diffuser anyway!

Ahh so I was missing the rear piece to tie into the bumper! Thanks!
Interesting, both are.. I'm assuming there's some paint work to be done on the IS version.

Nope. No need for paint work for either pieces. The painted piece is part of the iS rear bumper kit.
