Pricing Opinion
It's an '02, 5-speed, 63k miles. It has the Sport packages with 19" wheels (from a 4.4i) as well as 17" winter wheels. Navi, CDC, heated seats, sunroof - I think it has everything you could get on the 3.0 except for self-leveling suspension. Color combo is Topaz Blue with black leather, dark walnut trim. The car is clean and well-maintained. As I said, I'm not sure how to price it. 5-speeds are rare but also low demand, as nobody seems to want a manual SUV (or anything else) these days. The miles are pretty low for an 11 year old car, but Blue Book doesn't seem to care. What do you all think?

What type of pricing do you get when you use the national sites like the ones listed below that all offer help with pricing by region/zip code:
If it were me, I'd use each site to get a local selling price, then add them all up and divide by the number of sites that were used...this would give a great "average" selling price to work with that is representative of your local area. Edit: oops...just noticed your location is NoVa...don't know if that stands for Nova Scotia, Canada, or North Virginia, USA hopefully the sites above work for you...if they don't, then find similar sites that work for your part of the world.

The low miles and 5-speed would help if you could find an enthusiast's home for it....outside that "best case scenario" from a buyer's point of view it's a manual BMW suv thats nearly 12 years old.
Have you looked around to see what others are going for? You may not be able to find something exactly the same, but you should be able to figure out a starting point/ballpark. Used BMW X5 - in 58265 - Manual on Cars.com

Thanks for the help guys. The issue I have is two-fold:
- There are basically no "comps" with mileage this low. - The truck is one of the best-equipped manuals out there, but I'm not sure anyone cares. It's going to be a nice truck for whoever buys it, and I'd rather they didn't steal it from me.

you're absolutely right, you have to market this to an enthusiast. I would price it to what blue book says to start, its CLEAN, low mileage, and an enthusiasts car. Btw, why did my '03 Sport/Premium package equipped X5 get shafted with seats? I have cold weather package, but just regular seats, NOT the sport ones your X has. Pisses me off, I'm guessing sport seats were a standalone option, because my X definitely has sport package. You have Nav too, in my opinion that is a plus, I would have loved to find a manual trans Navigation equipped X when i was shopping for mine. You're basically a cousin of me, I have an '03 Topaz 5-speed with all packages you do although mine has 2-axle air suspension. A market for X5 manual owners is out there, you just have to be patient. I searched for 6 months to find mine because all the sticks I was finding weren't well equipped and/or had high miles. The low mileage will definitely help you out, why not keep it? And btw, post up in the manual transmission registry, we got about 51-52 members on the boards with E53 manuals, some might be looking to buy another!

Seeing as we've already established that your vehicle would best appeal to "enthusiasts".....in your case it may be worth acquiring a premium membership to post it up in the classifieds section. An occasional thread bump will keep it at the top of the list as well.
Good Luck!

Also, if you're a BMW CCA member...you can advertise it in the Roundel...which obviously puts your vehicle in the hands of uber enthusiast...and if you've ever seen some of the prices listed in the Roundel's classifieds...you might want to be sitting down first....or have a paper bag near by so that you can catch your breath after hyper-ventilating from laughing so hard at some of the listed prices.
But in their defense...again they are enthusiast and will find many owners that tend to take very good care of their vehicles (much like many on BMW internet forums such as this).

Wish I had funds for a manual X5.... Yours sounds like one I would go for. And yes I do have an X5, an 04 4.4i. I really wish they made that a manual......
