ibus ?- satnav issue - reboot/crash

Hi all, 2 weeks ago I installed my ibus interface which was all working ok
until I disconnected the laptop then it froze the ibus/screen etc in the car until the pc/laptop was plugged back in again.. so it seemed the ibus interface required power to it 24/7 otherwise it would lock up the cars system. radio/screen etc.. so I just disconnected the power wire on the interface which fixed the issue

anyway notice this Friday (1st journey over 40 mins I done since) that on the screen the system was just resetting itself. went blank/ bmw logo back on.. then blank/ bmw logo back on etc.. kept doing this then just died (however radio was working fine) and the info on the lcd on the instrucment cluster eg clock range, mpg etc was still working. then I pulled over turned car off and on and it reverted to the tv tuner graphics (blue 1980s style screen but the nav option had disappeared) although still power to the nav drive (red light was on)

anyway I was thinking this maybe do with the interface so have completely disconnected the interface. but its still doing this.

I am running a customer fw for speed camera and a 2013 map disc with camera. I have tried my original 2005 map and same thing... the only thing I have left to try is downgrade to v29? then back up to original v31 but im really not sure if that's the issue?

anyone got any other advise/ help?

HI there did you ever find out what this was it just happened to mine old style screen and no nav option
