Lightbulb!
SO, it just dawned on me how to get the oil out of the spark plug holes...I fly r/c airplanes and helicopters and have an electric 12volt fuel pump on my flight box to pump fuel in/out of the aircraft. The one I currently use is at least 5 years old and due for replacement, so I figured, why not use that to get the oil out, then clean the pump out and set it aside for future car repair
![]() They are about $14 new, then you just need the fuel tubing...silicone, neoprene, or the yellow gas tubing from any hobby store should work just fine.

I like the low tech method better.
I owned Brit cars when I started driving. Still have two of them.

That is how I removed my power steering fluid.

Though my wife was just at the grocery store and I had to text her that she needs to buy a baster for the turkey unless a little power steering fluid doesn't bother her.

Mmmmm power steering fluid is great for adding in your turkey brine, no harm no foul!
Reminds me of after I did a headlight retrofit using our oven, my wife was wondering in what part of the process of making a meatloaf did a pungent plastic smell start coming from the oven

LOL
You guys are cracking me up! I did my first 1974 Porsche 2.7 engine rebuild on the kitchen table when I was married to my first wife. And had both my cars in the garage over the Winter while hers had to sit in the driveway...hmmm...I wonder why she left me?
![]() On a more positive note, all my error lights are gone! I flipped a coin last weekend and bought the rear left ABS sensor and popped it in and the lights were gone immediately. Got my speedo, DSC, ABS, and MPG gauges back and no problems since. Idle is still a little rough but only on the really cold days. We've had some warmer days here and it hasn't been an issue, although I think Santa is bringing me a new Oil Separator and all new vacuum lines ![]() I still have yet to install the valve cover gaskets that have been burning a hole in my workbench for a few weeks now, but maybe this weekend I'll grab a case of Guinness and knock it out. Next project is gonna be the power steering R&R...the whining noise is driving me crazy, but still drives fine once it's warmed up. Plus the less-than-Cadillac-like steering is doing wonders for my biceps.
