better than paying close to $1000 for two rear Michelins... In some countries the dealers got you by the balls... monopoly...

There are no hankooks for our size anywhere close to 161.
Running 20s with 275-40-20 all around on 10 inch wide wheels.

Update: Done id say around 300 miles on new rears this past weekend,, feel great, no rain handling test yet, so far dry handling/braking and ride feel exactly as the DWS contis.

No balance issues,, got up to around 120 messing with a Audi S5, feel great, no complaints so far..

FYI anyone looking for a full set of these

275/40/20 fronts and 315/35/20 rears, total will cost you $542 to your door from the seller i bought from. You cannot beat that deal or even complain, for that price you can get 2 sets of these per one set contis, the more expenisve michelans and such the difference is even greater.

So far coming from me you can be sure im giving them a thorough test, i run the X hard.

What is the buyer name/ebay ID or website if he has one. I wonder if what other deals he's got. Looking for replacement tire for my sister's honda civic.

I was looking at those, but hadn't seen any reviews. What I really wanted was the Conti DWS since their tread is about as good as you can get for snow on an all season tire. I ended up finding a set of Michelin Diamaris with about 70% tread left for $250 in our staggered sizes, so I jumped at the deal. Then paid $80 to get all my wheels scratched and bad balance.

The seller name on ebay is: buywheelstoday

Thing is, with X sized tires, you cant really find any specials or deals as much as you can for example a civic. Also most deals are for a set of four, and rarely 2, like i needed, so you lose out as well.

I got these, and am not disappointed at all so far, but for smaller sized wheel cars, you can land some pretty slick deals on brand name tires if you look...

Discounttiredirect website has great prices, as well as if buying sets of 4 alot of companies offer rebates etc, they also have an ebay store as well.

Example: For my 01 Audi B5 A4 (which i recently sold), had the sport 16"s, i ended up getting 4 hankooks off the ebay store, $350 shipped they were on sale from discount tire, now hankook was also offering a rebate of $100 Visa card on a set of 4.

I made out with 4 new brand name hankooks for $250.

I've bought my beyern wheels for my X5 from BuyWheelsToday. Great group of guys to deal with.
They made a shipping mistake with my wheels to Canada and they even paid for return shipping and replaced them with proper wheel order by the next few days. Super fast and responsible sales guys.

Ive been rocking Delinte D4000's for over 30,000 miles on my 2001 X and they are great. I live in Michigan and have even driven in 4-6" of snow with them on before I had switched to my winter setup and they performed just fine. Never once did I feel out of control or like I was going to get stuck. I get them from a wholesaler in Metro Detroit for $90 a pop for fronts and $135 for rears. Best bang for your buck and they don't wear out too quick either. My fronts are about cashed but I had thrust arms go bad on me and they cupped them prematurely. Rears still look great! Hope this helps anyone who is in the market!

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
I think we can all agree that a new set of cheap meats is better than a dry rotted, cupped, worn to the threads set of old, expensive meats

So, do you still run the Delinte tires? if so, how are they holding up?
