key fob didn't unlock back doors??

for the past 9 years ALL doors unlock with key fob unlock button. Twice in the past week the back doors did not unlock while 2 front doors unlocked

maybe related:
about once in every 100 key fob "locks" the car does not respond and I use the key in the lock and lock all doors.

city boy here - LOCK up every time, maybe its tired........

^same for me as e30cab, but that could be a key code setting that I'm not aware of.

Tried reinitializing the key? I think any signal to the CLS means it's not the key, but might be worth a try. Do you have a second key? Any changes when using it?

seems that the rears are tired - but both of them at the same time? i have not heard of both at the same time, mine was tired on rear left, and then, after -40 degrees cold in moscow, it somehow started to work...

in e30cabrio case it seems to be the programming - single push, just the driver's door, second push, the other 3 doors and the trunk... can be changed in the programming, if so desired...
