Hi guys,
2006 X5 4.4i owner here. I apologize if this has been answered before, but I have used the "search" function for quite a while and can't find the answer. To make a long story short, my X5 was making sounds indicative of bad belt(s), so I replaced both belts and tensioners... Apparently the correct tension on the A/C Clutch/Pulley has made the noise even worse. I have narrowed said noise to the bearing inside my A/C's clutch. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to remove the clutch, as it just spins when I twist the star bolt with my wrench. I realize there are tools for this but I just need some direction, as this is new territory for me. Thanks in advance, gentlemen.
