Keeping Suspension on High Setting

I like the look and feel of setting the ride height at the upper setting, however I think there's logic in the system to lower it at a certain speed. Is there a way to disable that? I don't want to just pull the fuses for the self leveling system because I probably need the compressor to keep working (I have two new front air struts, backs original).

There's two fuses to the system. Can I pull one or the other?

Jeff

You can code a ride height as you see fit via coding. Pulling the fuses will just deactivate the system. The software suite from out romanian friend is more than capable of doing what you want!

LOL don't pull fuses, one is for the module and one is for the compressor itself.

Get yourself a software package and you can set the ride height higher or lower as you want it via a ride height calibration. Need INPA/DIS/GT1 package to do so.

I dont recall the seller name off hand, but that link looks right to me. The suite is an extremely powerful tool to have at your disposal.

That's pretty slick but I'll need a Windows laptop.

Maybe I can ask my son to borrow his homemade desktop

Thanks,
Jeff

Can it be done with BMW scanner from PA Soft, under EWS?

For what its worth I bought a clean used dell laptop off eBay for 90 bucks, fresh install of windows xp and cleaned hard drive.

I bought the Romanian package linked above and have a fully functional dedicated diagnostic laptop for under 150.

That's a good idea. My desktop iMac has about given up the ghost. Don't feel like spending all the money for a new one when all I really need is internet access and some storage for pictures and music. I already have a second screen plugged in because the first died.
