Hey, trying to take my coilovers off and put air suspension rear back.
Problem is i threw my old gas shock that sits behind the airbag away. Queston i have might seem dumb but can i just install the air shocks or will the pop? I will not be driving my car anymore.. juat needs to make it on a tow truck

Eh it doesnt leak i dont think...i pumped it up yesterday it was rock hard.
If theres no air in and compres the bag theres alittle bit of pitting or little aging near the bottom.. I can take a picture if needed. But i just dont want it to explode, does the gas shock take weight off the airbag or does the airbag do most of the holding? The gas stut just to smooth it out?
