I ordered two sets of these from ebay. I was curious if anyone else here has change them? They are the two bushing in the swing arm. Please provide your input. |

Did them earlier this year....they aren't overly difficult. I used the cup from a ball join tool set and stainless threaded rod to pull the bushings through.....it's a slow process but it works!

It was part of my suspension rebuild....did every link, arm, bushing and ball joint from front to back. I wasn't experiencing any camber issues Or irregular tire wear; the X just didn't have that tight feeling.
With the exception of the rear subframe bushings (which were done a few weeks prior) the whole rear rebuild was done in one shot...so it's a bit hard to say which pieces did exactly what. I can tell you that the old LCA bushings were rock hard and would have transferred more road noise/vibrations.

You don't want to this one piece at a time as you have to do an alignment when you change the bushings out, with the exception of the subframe bushings (though you probably should anyway as tolerances aren't held to the 100th of a mm).

Considering those bushings are 60 bucks, new ball joints for the rear are 100, and the wishbones are 90 apiece, there is no reason not to do all the major wear items of the rear suspension in one shot!
Personally I'm plAnning on the rear subframe bushings next year when renting the special tool, driving it for a while and then doing the rear susp parts and getting a single alignment afterwards.
