Qsilver7 is on a distinguished road
What is the other vehicle that you're "considering" to purchase in the future? If it's another BMW SAV...will the Style 87s fit that vehicle? If so, then you've already got your 2nd set of wheels to continue to have a dual set for winter & spring/summer/fall.

If its the e70 you're considering, even though it has a larger 74.1mm wheel hub...adapters or boring (ahhhhhh!!! get shivers just thinking of putting the grinder to a good set of 87s) out the hubs to fit.

The Style 87 wheels remind me a lot of the Style 37 (MPars). They tend to look good on multiple BMW models...even ones that they weren't designed for. There's a simple elegance to the humble 5 spoke design that can be carried off by lots of BMW models.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
jsoto, FWIW, I would trade you my mint staggered 168 replicas plus cash, and I'd swap my Toyo tires on them if you were interested in such a deal.

I've always had a thing for 87s, and although I love my 168's if the right trade came along I'd probably do it. If they don't have curbage/bends thats always a plus, I ended up with my 168's because all the sets of 87s I was finding were used, curbed and not in good shape when I was shopping for wheels.

I was able to get brand new 168s (they are replicas but they look great and not a single issue with quality) with Toyo tires for 1800 delivered, and considering that most sellers on ebay/craigslist etc were trying to sell beat up sets of 87's for 1600 bucks with shot tires, I elected the brand new wheels for obvious reasons.

PM me if you would be interested in entertaining a trade, I'm local to you I believe.

But I definitely would keep a second set of wheels around in case of those NYC potholes!
