Aux Input Install Business CD, No DSP

I have ordered the aux cable # 82110149390 and am beginning to plan my install. After heavy searching, I have found a post describing the fuses to remove for a navigation system but not a business CD. The included instructions suggest to unplug the battery. Is this the best option? OR does anyone know the fuses to pull for the Business CD? Thanks.

I installed my own AUX cable in Nav equipped car - did not pull any fuses, did not touch the battery... just plugged the connector, routed the cable... but again, sometime i drive a bit over the posted speed limits... well... "sometime" is an understatement... well... "a bit over" is an understatement too... lol...

my point is, unless you are disconnecting modules during the routing process, there is no need to pull fuses... there are couple possible scenarios for the AUX wiring... does your scenario come with a "pre-wired plug"? or, you have to actually insert pins into existing plug of the radio module? if you have a pre wired, free-hanging plug, don't worry about any fuses... if you have to pull a plug from radio module, insert the pins, and then put the plug back in, check the fuse #72 - if i remember correctly, that is the radio fuse... check the legend on the fuse panel in the trunk...

Thanks for the quick reply. I will look at what needs to be done and will be sure to unplug the radio if pins need to be moved around.

Ditto

There should be an index for the front fuses adhered to the pull down panel in the top of the glove box...and the back fuses index is usually adhered to the back side of the right side panel in the cargo area...or adhered directly to the rear fuses (as is in my 06).

The fuse index lists all the fuses in alphabetical order, and lists the fuse's number within the fuse box, and has an illustration of the fuse box as to where each numbered fuse resides (kinda over the top in telling you were everything is located).

(front fuses adhered to top of fuse pull down cover)

(my 2006 rear fuse index is mounted directly to the fuse box...others may be on back of removable panel)
