Just wanted to update about the conti dws on my truck. First real snow here in jersey for the season and tires performed flawlessly!!!! Going both up and down some steep hills had no issues and even went around a plow just to avoid the salt spray!!! Now back to using my E30 ix just cause its more fun all around😋

I like winter as well. As long as there is snow on the ground. I can't stand freezing temps and no snow.

I love driving in snow...by myself with no other cars on the road, so if you see someone rallying around at 3am it might be me.

Really want to avoid the salt spray? Garage it until the roads clear. Bcredliner and I both pulled the Xs out today after 11 days garaged. I keep a beater Honda Accord on hand to slog thru the rust causing sand/sludge. Having seen a few winter use BMWs up on lifts, I won't do it to mine. REAL fun is a 700hp Viper in the rain!

My X has never been in salt. It has only been near saltwater once and that was only 5 days and in the garage most of that.
