Tranny Broke, what it feels like Merry Xmas

So Dropping of my Girl and
2 mins into it just Now as i was driving Normal maybe 20-25mph
saw the rpm going up but no go on the car….
went to Manual Mode shift and no go till after 5 seconds then quickly jolts and big thump feeling, put it back to drive rpm goes up around 4-6k rpm bt no surge or no acceleration at all, put it on P and bogs and grinds ..put it on Revers 3seconds thumps after 3sec….still slipping….so i parked it and took GF car home
btw- after i put HID fogs and 4x4 codes comes on…..then i would shut off car wait about 1 minute and it goes off…..thought that would be some kinda addition to problem..

-No Codes,No FailSafe Message
-Vibration at Certain Speeds
-Gears Slipping
-Grinding feeling from Drive to Park
-Thumps on Gear Shifting

HERE is the video

ouch Mike!!!!

the reman tranny, 24007530100, shows only on the 4.8 (TC is listed as D82, 24407559514) and not on the 4.4...

the 4.4 tranny comes up as part # 24007533910, (TC L93, part # 24407559120).

both trannys listed as GA6HP26Z... I did not have a chance to cross reference the individual parts, but i am sure that most parts can be interchangeable, while some parts might a bit beefed up...

these juicy mechanics beyond my expertise but i would think that something is broken inside the 4.8 tranny... that may warrant opening the tranny and looking inside, to see what is broken... once you know what is broken, you may be able to cross reference parts that are broken and see if the 4.4 tranny has those parts... hoping that the 4.4 parts are still usable (due to age, mileage), pull those parts from the 4.4 and stick them to 4.8... the parts that are broken and unique to 4.8 - you would need to buy them...

it is easier said than done - for me, it is not a DIY job, i have NO IDEA how to tackle a job of this magnitude... but, if it were something else, the above approach is what i would have used to mitigate the problem with minimal expenditure...

can you do transmissions???

Might be a bit late for it but try adding some more trans fluid.

That sucks, Mike.
I'd be interested in knowing some history of the tranny. Did you ever change the ATF? Is the mileage around 150k?
I would think that the tranny should be the same but as TerminatorX5 point out, the part# are different. You would have to check with some transmission specialist for your option.

Just to clarify: the tranny was flushed the traditional way, not drain-refill twice with filter change as common suggestion?
Is it possible that wrong ATF was used? fluid level is not correct?
I'm NOT doubting anything, M. Just trying to gather some information.
