Which valve stem seals - N62
The updated part # is: 11340029751.
I visited the dealer, and they look similar to the old ones (brown interior seal). However, I read through different posts on the internet and the consensus is that the updated seals have a red colored internal seal. Checking with the vendors, I could see the same seals I saw at the dealer on the ECS Tuning page, here. Looking at Pelican Parts, they have 3 different brands: Elring Klinger, Corteco & Victor Reinz. All 3 are OEM suppliers for German automakers, including BMW. Out of the above 3 mentioned, the only brand with red internal seals are the Victor Reinz, Elring Clinger has no pics, and Corteco has greenish internal seal (maybe they're brown?) very close to the old no good seals. The question is which seals are a safe bet that are the updated ones? Everybody assures you these are the updated ones, but if they aren't, good luck trying to explain this after 3-4 years...
