air con lag time

hi there ,does anybody experience slow air conditioner start up? when you hit the button first thing my air con takes about 7-8 minutes before it gets cold. all it does it push out hot air and then ..bam beautiful cold air, only does it on the first start up and then its terrific but that initial startup gee its takes a long time to get going especially in real hot weather.

Check to see if the aux electrical fan is spinning when the ac is on. If not you found your problem.
