Belt Tensioner - OEM? Also, rebuild or replace assy?

So I pulled out my burnt alternator and the belt tensioner (hydraulic) is toast as well.

In a preliminary search I see a variety of brands like Ruville, Ina, etc.

Anyone know who is OEM for this part?

ETA: Also, looking at RealOEM I see that the hydraulic tensioner is rebuildable, the tensioner arm needle bearings, tensioning cylinder, and pulley are all available as parts. What are everyone's thoughts on rebuilding vs purchasing an assembly?

INA makes the OEM Tensioner and Idler pulley which I recommend you change both. I ordered the tensioner couple weeks ago and thought I was going to receive a Genuine BMW part (since it said Genuine BMW on the listing) and was a bit confused when I received the tensioner. It wasn't Genuine BMW but, is the OEM part that BMW uses. Confirmed this after posting on here and after I removed old tensioner and idler pulley and seen that they were both from INA.

Thanks for the info! I see in your sig you have an 02, that means you have the mechanical tensioner? Mine is hydraulic.

Info still helps a lot as I will be replacing tensioner and deflection pulleys as well, qnd possibly the AC belt tensioner too which is mechanical.
