anybody remember 2002? ti? tii? those were tanks!!! I even suspect, they were put together from the parts left over from the WWII... you could zip-tie, velcro and gum the sucker, and it will get you where you were going...

So your problem with the Xs is pretty much battery related? These SAVs are very demanding when it comes to starting juice.
With the grin still on your face after picking up your iS, I don't think you're ready to throw in the towel yet.
GL.

Even though I sound pissed at my X's right now , I paid the 1100$ today at the stealer but the min I hit the road with my 4.8 beast , huge smile on my face. I'm a BMW junky I guess

Oh don't worry, you'll be mad as hell again real soon, probably something like window regulators or broken door handles will be next....lol!

My wife jokes that our X5 has a spare cash sensor in it somewhere; whenever we have some spare cash, something breaks and we have to pour some $$ into it. Sounds like yours might have that feature too.

When I worked at a BMW dealership back in the early 90's we had two definitions of the acronym BMW.

BMW = Bring My Wallet or
BMW = Break My Wallet

LOL!!!

Ah, the wonders of deliberate design flaws.

LOL! Please let me know if you figure out the fuse number for that sensor...

My E53's air conditioner panel's LCD wouldn't light up and blow air at all on the way home last night. Decided to take the E70 to work the next morning (and not deal with blower issue at all) but 15 miles later every possible warning message came up on screen and truck decided to stop.

I know I'm out of spare cash, am going to check wife's bank accounts now to see what the trucks are sensing!

Both of them are V8, can't imagine having that much fun in any other SUV when speeding through winding canyon roads of Los Angeles.

Don't give up Gio ! ..... We live in Montreal and Winter here is serious business, last week the meter went down to minus 40.... Polar vortex equal to Alaska.
And i think that CAA registered records of towing and Car frozen

That being said... Why are you going to the stealers ?? Of course at $120 rate an hour ur wallet will come empty fast.

Mine had no problem because of 2 things : she sleep in the heated garage (5 degree) and connected to the smart chargers when not used for more than 3 days.

PS forgot to mentionned...My wife Mercedez Benz C serie 2012 Alternator has burn last week during the cold snap....30k Kil on the clock....

Tomorrow i'm going to check out both indy in Laval and the CAA towing guy gave me another supposedly very good indy in Repentigny.
If i keep them i'll need to empty the single space garage from the man toys in there (bikes) for next winter.
