Anyone running a 4.4 trans in a 4.6?
I'm looking at pulling the trigger on a used ZF 5hp-24 to put in my 4.6 that has a broken case. All I want to know is if people are doing this and it's working for them.

Both the 4.4 and 4.6 run the ZF5hp24 transmission. The 4.6 has a different torque convertor.

Thanks, but I knew that. I know it has another clutch, and a change on a valve... Just want to know if this is a reasonable solution that some of the members are currently experiencing.
