BMW NA came back to me and the car is being inspected on Monday at the dealership. I'll post their findings as soon as I know. Thanks for the continued support

Hi guys,

Similar situation happened to me over the weekend but the passenger airbag went off after I hit a bump pretty hard. I was wondering if you had to replace the sensors too? Or should replacing the airbags be fine?

Sad to bump this thread. This happened today morning as my wife was getting to work.

Passenger front and rear tires blow out (possible road debris), passenger curtain and 2 rear side airbags deployed. She was only driver and was about 30 mph on 35 mph road.

I'll bet the computer deployed the airbags due to the sudden change in ride height/different between the driver's and passenger's side of the vehicle. It probably thought the X was about to roll over towards the passenger side.
