Interior Door Arm Rest
I went to an interior place and he was unsure if that panel piece "pop" off or is part of the interior door panel frame. Does anyone know if that piece pops off or not? Basically, the guy told me if it does pop off he will do so and then stretch and reglue. If it doesn't pop off, he said he has a tuck tool which I guess he'll add some glue underneath and then force the leather back in with the tuck tool. Thanks to all who answer. |

Interior Door Arm Rest
Mine is starting to do this also. Passenger side only, weird because that side is hardly used compared to driver side.

What is the easiest way to remove this part to allow it to be repaired?

I believe the leather covered portion snaps off if you pull upward. That might be on the older BMW's though, although i don't see them changing that design.
