Ugliest E53 on the market?

I was cruising through my local BMW-related Craigslist postings, and happened upon this unfortunate "beauty". My favorite part is the "$4000 in after market extras and chrome accessories: all BMW manufactured". Yeah. Sure. Those eBay-Special "Sport" badges sure look OEM to me.

ONE OF A KIND BMW X5

Anyway, I thought I would start a thread to consolidate the sale ads in case anyone is out there looking for a particular hideous E53. Let's make this a one-stop shop for bad taste in E53s.

are those "M" gills on the sides of the fenders?

the tow hitch does not look OE... considering the chrome window trim - probably not "sport"...

"The inside has been customized with wood to transform it into a luxury vehicle."

otherwise, BMW is just an everyday car... you guys, with all those Al and CF trims - you just don't get the value of wood trim around ashtrays and vent shrouds...

other than cosmetics, the car could be in a good condition, who knows... and the cosmetics - only skin deep... can be removed...

Keep all the custom accent parts and knock $4k off the price, and it's still high.
I did it wrong. I get rid of all the wood trim

aside from the fact that he's asking 11K for a 2001 3.0 without the sport package.

I see those go for 7-8 grand all day long on craigslist. I guess he's trying to recoop all the stock he bought in 3M and laminate wood trim.

Chrome wheel well accent pieces are the worst...when did covering a vehicle in chrome accent pieces become desirable? Sport steering wheel though and the sidesteps look good... Dreaming on the asking price too... Esp in the KS market.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
Nobody mentioned his sweet Made in China knockoff running boards.

And for half a second there I was dumb enough to think he actually spent 700 for OE running boards

Somebody should email him and tell him his car is a puke fest

Good God. I just noticed that he actually managed to chrome ALL OF HIS VENT LOUVERS. I'm not even mad anymore...that's amazing.
