Give them a Chance. I have belong to many car forums and the guys that post on the Lotus forums or Porsche forums are just a cool as the guys that post on the BMW forums.

Not to worry Rado - the MDX was the only other lux SUV we considered as well. Nice ride, comfortable interior, and Honda/Acura reliability. Timing belt changes turned me off at the time though.

Yep same here, if it wasn't for the timing belt I'll be driving a MDX and posting on the MDX forum. But it seems that timing chain guides on the BMW V8 is more costly then a timing belt change on an Acura.

Yeah, so far I'm happy with the MDX but I still miss the X a little bit. Anyway, if someone is interested and want the sprint booster that I kept before I sold it, let me know - it is half price but good as new.

There's even a poster on a MDX forum that refer to his MDX as a "X".

Timing belt job on 2007 X. - Acura MDX Forum : Acura MDX SUV Forums

As Barney Fife would say we got to nip this in the bud.

I saw first hand what happens when a group steals the name from another group. As a License Architect I spent 5 years in college, 3 years in an intern program and was required to pass a 5 days state board exams before I could call myself an Architect. But the IT people stole the term Architect and now call themselves System Architect. Do a job seasrch for Architect and it's mainly IT positions.

Nip it, nip it in the bud......
