Missing windshield seal?

This is a new to me 02 x5 3.0. I noticed today that I may be missing an upper windshield seal, but I'm not sure.

It's easy to replace. Actually the seal looks like it's still in there but the rubber strip is just gone on top.

They are about 18 bucks from BMW for a new one and about 20 mins to replace. Search "upper windshield gasket" on the forums for a relative theead
