Whistle Steering Column Adjustment problem/Power seat

Having an issue with the steering column. Noticed it stopped going up and down as I turned off and on the engine as it should.

Tried to use the manual adjustment control stalk to move the wheel.

The steering column DOES move, but only in centimeter long moves. Up, down. When I try to bring the column out towards the driver, it wants to centimeter step backwards towards the dash. I did it so many times, the steering wheel is all the way to the dash and will not come "back" towards the driver anymore.

So steering column motor seems to be working but may be a relay or control module issue?

When I started reading up on this, I notice many said it is connected to the driver power seat, which also no longer works (hadn't even noticed this) doesn't move at all

I checked the fuses, seemed all good. Anything else to check? I haven't tried disconnecting the battery yet either.
