5651 Rough idle speed controller

Hi,

Just connected connected up my new ebay diagnostics and ran the INPA on my 2002, 3.0 Diesel sport.

The following error was picked up :-

ECU: DDE40KW0
5651 Rough idle speed controller
Error registration 0x1613
Error Code
16 13 28 01 74 01 19 7A 1D 77 54 DE 00 00 00 00

Can anyone shed anylight on the error, it does seem to idle poorly....

Cheers

G

Hi

I took the acoustic cover off the engine today to take a look at the injectors.... there seems to be quite a lot of diesel fuel at the base of the injectors...not sure if this is coming from one or more than one...

Could this leakback be casuing the error messages that I have posted ?

Is it likely that the rubber seals have failed.... is it worth replacing those on all injectors first to see if this resolves the rough idle ?

If so is there a how to replace the diesel o rings any where ??

Cheers

Gary

Just an update...

INPA and DIS indicated injector 1 not working correctly.

Took in to a diesel engineer GT Diesels in Dundalk, Co Louth....

They identified that injector 1 did not match the others and was puming out too much fuel......they changed the nozzle and reset....now its runnning smooth and no error codes (well at least related to the engine !)
