Driver Electric Folding Mirror Not Folding In

Hi All,

I have an 04 BMW E53, the driver side mirror will not fold in, even though i can here the motor trying to fold it.

The passenger one folds in but then folds back out, however i have read this is because the car isn't getting the signal that the driver side one has folded in also.

It appears to me as though the driver side is out of alignment (i am not able to manually close it either, i can manually push the passenger one in however)

Any help on this? I opened it up and saw that there are 4 screws securing the motor in but thought i'd best ask here before removing anything else.
