No experience with the suspension parts.
For O2 sensors: replace them in pairs. Pre-cats sensors control air/fuel mixture so they are important, and I replaced them at ~100k miles mark. Post-cats sensors are there to monitor the cat. converters only. Put the part# into Furiousmethod.com - BMW Parts Price Comparison for best price. However, they are sold at auto part stores too and sometimes there's a coupon online that you can use. Last time I bought them at Advanced Auto using online coupon and pick up in-store.

Sensors aren't too hard at all. If you're junking the old sensors, snip off the wires, stick a deep well socket on it and crank away. Install the new one on with a wrench and don't forget to put antiseize on the threads or that will be the last time you're going to be doing O2 sensors on your X5.
This saves you the headache of not having the special O2 sensor wrench or not having enough leverage on a regular wrench.

Used them on my VW and felt like new again. No issues 20,000k miles later. Came painted in Baby blue in my application. Having all the hardware as a kit helps a lot. Looking into it as well for the X5.

The Blau shocks are made by KYB. I've read on an Audi forum that are very decent shocks but are a tad more stiff and sporty than the OE. I decided to go with Sachs due to the good price and the OE ride.
