Bought an 2006 X5 4.8is last week...
 X5 -- 4.8is. INCREDIBLE!As I test drove the 'spaceship', I got it up to 115 and the guy looks at me and says -- 'go faster'. approaching 125 I had to slow down as it wanted more. This -- is -- an -- incredible -- vehicle. I didn't think a BMW could actually outrun, out do, outpace a Mercedes (07 S550). BUT I AM overly impressed, finding more stuff about it every day. I even found the flashlight and the other plug at the bottom. Of course I have suspension problems, but I think it's a relay. Last edited by bigmixxx; 03-12-2014 at 11:54 PM. your suspension is 99% not a relay.
most likely leaking airbags or burnt compressor. The relay problems were on the earlier models with the rear-only air suspension (relay is in the dome)

The start seems a little slow, so I'm sure the battery has gone dead (reset the flat tire monitor the other day). Car is in REALLY good shape, no cracks, cricks or crumps in the seat, a little squeek in the air conditioner. Thank you for the guidance!
