axxess aswc-1 install on '01 bmw x5
I decided to give the backup camera a break until the weekend. I am thinking the Steering wheel control on the aftermarket radio from china may be easier. Has anyone ever installed the axxess aswc-1 can bus to an 2001 e53 that previously had factory navigation? If so, I would appreciate if I could get some pics and step by step instructions before I make the attempt. Thanks

If weather permits, I'll be installing the axxess with a Pioneer 2600BT head unit. I'll be taking pics with step by step instructions to help others with future installs!
![]() It'll help that my friend (a MECP) will be with me to help with this. ![]()

Did you install this yet? I am having trouble. Another post says to use the yellow/grey/white wire. I tried this and I cant get it to program. Am I using the right wire?

I didn't get to my audio project yet because my headunit wasn't delivered yet! I'll have to wait for another weekend to try and get this done. Can't wait for the install tho. I've seen the previous posts about some members having problems also.
I'll still post pics and results when I get it in. If you find any news on yours beforehand, lemme know for heads up!
