A ghost in my car!

Yesterday I was driving my car on the highway. The speed was around 110km/h. All doors locked. It was a nice sunset.
Suddenly, a "door open" message come on board screen and the indoor light started to flash.
Until to be able to stop on the right side to check the car doors, the message disappear and indoor lights back to normal.
I check all doors: sll were close and loched.
I start drivind again. After another 3, 4 Km the message come again and, of course, indoor light on.
Anyone have meet this gost?
How do you get read of?

sounds to me like a door switch issue possibly. Does it indicate which door is open? Check the switches and lubricate latches.

Did you happen to have one or both of the sun visors pulled down...and/or the cover to the visor's mirror open? If yes, it could one of the weird electrical gremlins that occur from a failing ignition switch.

This phenomena is usually accompanied with other weird & seemingly unrelated electrical issues like the steering wheel or seat moving on its own...the radio may turn off/on by itself, the interior lights may come on, the horn may stop working, etc.

Yep! That happened to us... it's really freaky. Good thing is that the switch is really easy to replace...

Also, the door actuators can fail sending a false signal to the GM5

Yesterday I did not have the "Ghost" in my car!
But today, ones I connect the Galaxy S4 for charging...The Ghost come again!
The battery was changed in February last year. No red alert for weak battery or low voltage!

So, the questioned asked in post #6 is no? When you're driving around with radio on and electronic peripherals plugged in...if you make a call on the I-bus (like pulling down a sun visor & opening the mirror cover)...can you get weird electrical "ghosts" to appear?

The reason for asking this question is...the common denominator for all the seemingly unrelated electronic "ghosts" when the ignition switch fails...is the ignition switch. The components that start acting weird are powered once the ignition switch it turned on...if contacts within the switch get pitted or corrode (fail), then odd electronics glitches can occur.

Try to rule out the ignition switch being the culprit...then it's easier to rule out where NOT to look...and extend energy looking for the real culprit.
