Electrical issues

I have been having numerous issues with the electrical on this car including the common tail light epidemic of 2001... I bought a new led rear light assembly and then the day after installing that the front passenger seat wont move forward know. Fuses are fine, so I pulled the control assembly apart and messed with it a bit and eventually got it to work again but that only lasted a day or two. Anyone have any experience with this? Or know where I can at least pickup a new part for it?

Just to clarify, it WILL move backward, but NOT forward? if true, then yes, probably the seat switch. if it doesn't move at all and you don't hear anything after pressing the switch, you'll want to check the connector at the motor to see if you get voltage when you press the switch...then go from there.

look for this part# 61308099072
used one on ebay for $15. or new one here:
Actuation unit right. BMW # 61308099072, 52108226310, 52108242818

Correct... everything else works except the forward motion on the seat. Thank you kindly for the part# that was a tremendous help. I found this one on ebay for $65 seems pretty reasonable.
