Angry Somebody stole my mirrors

Went for a vacation and parked my car at the airport. When I got back some fuck had robbed both my mirrors. everything was gone and the cables was cut!!

It really amaze me that somebody would rob from my old BMW and not just take the glass and cover. My only happiness is the folding switch was broken one the right one...

Oh man...that's horrible...makes me want to round up a posse and hunt the dirty thieving dogs down.

I wonder if they will show up on for sale on the internet...or if it was a personal shopping theft. I feel your pain...that really sucks.

Can't believe that another X owner would steal from another X owner.

My bet is that this is the start of the sale of 'used' parts like the expensive OE aspheric, heated mirror glass and mirror housing assemblies that are in demand. It looks like they knew exactly how to get them and to do it very, very quickly. Looks like a chop shop type operator rather than an X5 owner.

Brutal. Hopefully your vehicle insurance will cover the costs associated with getting this all back to factory original.

I hope the perpetrator dies in a grease fire.

It is kind off an anti-climax to get back from vacation and discovery your car like that. My insurance will cover it, but I have to pay some deductible. My guess it will be sold as part in Eastern Europe. I assume they do not have the new X5 so they need to take from the good old E53..

Sorry to hear. They're expensive so its all about the money.

Other members have had that happen to them too.

Hope you get it all sorted w/o spending too much.
