Received the unit last week. Build quality was slightly off as the plastic cover holding the logic board in had popped off in shipping. Took some electrical tape to the box and secured it back together.

Plugged in the device to the 3 and 6 pin connectors where the cd changer used to be. Turned on the car, paired the device and was instantly streaming music. Super fast and easy.

Sound quality is plenty good for me, never tried a hardwired device in this car, though I have in my e46 m3, so I can't comment on that.

To summarize the two issues I’m experiencing, 1: Pandora stops streaming as soon as device is “locked” which does not happen on other Bluetooth devices at home. 2. 5-10 seconds after Pandora beings playing it will automatically skip to the next song, also does not happen with other Bluetooth devices I’ve paired to at home.

Customer service has been very helpful and will be talking to the owner in an attempt to resolve this. Not sure if it's related to the iPhone 5 or the Blitzsafe. Need to try my wife's phone when I get home from work.

In short, device does exactly what I want it to with minimal install and is attractively priced for those of us who don't already have an aux cable installed. Already ordered a second device as my mechanic wanted one as soon as he saw it.

Will keep you guys updated on my pandora issues...

Forgot to mention, the product is now shown on their site, Blitzsafe - BMW/BLUETOOTH V.1

There's also a $20 off coupon on their homepage.

I don't have the stock bluetooth setup so can't comment on that. If I get a call I answer it, music stops, hang up and music starts again via bluetooth.

Have three of these in our cars now, no complaints.

So, I assume your phone calls do not go through this Blitzsafe? Only media streaming goes through bluetooth, right?

That is correct, only streams music, not phone calls.

Most modern phones can pair to more than 2 BT devices at a time, It should work.
