fixed door window - right rear - replacement

2000 BMW X5 E53 4.4.i

I was hoping for assistance to outline the general procedure for changing the fixed door window passenger side rear door. i.e. the triangular window that is stationary within the rear door.

My window was smashed, so I need to replace it.

I purchased the window from BMW. After looking at the diagram on realoem, I am guessing that I may need to order some attachment clips or other accessories.

Anyone familiar with this job/procedure?

What do I need to do remove the window?

RealOEM.com * BMW E53 X5 4.4i Trim and seals for door, rear

Thanks in advance!

looks to me that the window glass is static and actually held in place by the trim panels around it which are screwed into place.

do you have a small flat blade screwdriver you can use to peck away at the remaining glass still stuck in place? if you can peck it all out and it just falls out with a rubber grommet then you have your answer.
