2004 x5 3.0 Transfer case

Hello Everyone,
I am new to this forum, I have been reading different posts and I would like to thank everyone for sharing their knowledge. I finally saved up enough money ad bought a 2004 x5 3.0. I am trying to do maintenance and change all of the fluids.
I was wondering if anyone has changed the fluid in the transfer case, If so what kind of fluid does it take? where are the fill and drain plugs located. your help would be very much appreciated,

thank you,
Rich
