Aftermarket PDC sensors?

Did anyone replace a parking sensor with the aftermarket one? It looks like they go on ebay for $15-35 new for aftermarket but I am not sure if they would work properly. I know I should go oem but it's $120 vs. $15. Any thoughts?

I paid $34 for 2 aftermarket sensors 3 months ago. Been working fine ever since.

In this instance I'd say its worth the try for a $100 difference in sensor price, several other members have used the aftermarket sensors with good results.

It looks like Vemo is the brand for $74.

How do you take them off the bumper? I put my hand behind the bumper but I cannot figure out what to do. It doesn't seem to come off easily. It must be a trick.

They are clipped in place when you press them in from the front so you push them out from behind to get them out, there are little nubs on the new sensors which are clipped on the round trim pieces.

When you get the new sensors you'll see. All are doable without dropping the bumper, except if you have a facelift and are doing the front

Thanks RB. I got it out and tried to open it up and see if it's fixable but I couldn't take it apart. I ordered the Chinese version.
I have two defective, one in the front and one in the back. If I replace the bad one in the rear bumper and I go in reverse would the system work or I have to fix the front as well for the PDC system to be functional? To take the bumper off is not on my priority list right now.
