Expansion Tank Coolant leak (fixed), What to use to clean the spots?

I have some leak from the expansion tank cap last year in Oct. and i have replaced with one from online, now for some reason about 2 weeks ago decided to leak again , and from my inspection i can tell the lower o-ring seal it was in some way flatten than the top one, so i decided to buy a bmw one this time from the stealers !, now i got some coolant dry spots around everything where that expansion tank is ! (hoses,body,engine)

Is there a spray that i can buy from autozone,napa,etc... to just spray when engine is really hot and then after spray to clean up it self and also to dry out in minutes?

Thanks for any advice on this ! , i just hate to see the car dirty !.

Regards.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
I would spray with simple green or APC, agitate with a soft brush or painbrush and rinse it clean.

Please for the love of god don't buy those "spray/shine engine degreasers" from Pep girls which leaves a nice silicone coating everywhere.

@g300d

That's the best right there , but you can't get in some spaces ,by hand so some spray and a brush may help ,little more.

Thanks for the advice friend!

@Doru,

Thank you for your input!
Multumesc.

I just started to have few minor problems with this x5 , will be posting shortly 2 more treads, o boy , you fix something and then something else comes along ... o well, life goes on.

True that, it does take a bit of reaching to get to most of it.

Do post what works for you, am always open to easier ways to do things if possible.

Good luck!
