New Member saying "hi" 2003 M/T

I just picked up this 2003 3.0 with a manual transmission. It has 72,000 miles. The day after I brought it home the passenger window regulator went out and washer pump as well. Go figure! I texted the guy I bought it from and told him he is lucky he sold it to someone who is use to working on BMWs. I couldn't be happier with how the car handles. I am really impressed. I owned a E39 and the two cars are very similar. My plans are - CDV delete and short shifter (made a world of difference on my e39) lowering springs, and a possible audio upgrade. My X is really stripped down as far as options go. Also, I had really good success with replacing all fluids with royal purple in the past. May do this or Redline, not sure yet.
Best to you all and I hope I can contribute to the forum
