BMW X5 Rear Middle Seat Belt Replacement

Hi guys,

I'm hoping someone can help, I've just got myself a X5 4.8is last week and I have just noticed that the middle rear seat belt is missing. Is this something that can be easily replaced/ fitted?

Thanks
Jag

It probably dropped behind or under the seat. The seat bottom is easily removable to check.

The buckle is there it's the main seat belt that comes out of the top of the rear bench rest that is missing. To be honest I never even looked when I was viewing the car.

Look on RealOEM.com Online BMW Parts Catalog and see if you can identify the parts you are missing. I can't imagine it being hard to re-install.

It's the actual middle seat belt itself that's missing the one that comes down over your shoulder and connects into the buckle. Just took a picture of my brothers facelift 4.4 which has it.

I'm assuming these can be fitted from the back of the seat as the belt itself sits inside the seat?

Any ideas on how I would replace the middle belt? Can it be done?

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
Mine is stuck in super tight position against the seat, I'm guessing I have to replace the seat belt tensioner?

I'm assuming the rear seat needs to be taken apart to get to the mechanism
