Issues with MTEC V3

Hey guys,

Has anyone had any issues with the MTEC V3 angel eye bulbs before? I finally got them in on Friday and got around to installing them yesterday. Unplugged my stock bulbs and plugged the new ones in, switched the lights on and got nothing. Tried swapping back to the stock bulb and it lit up perfect tried the LED again and no dice. The installation was easy enough, direct plug and play only no play. Am I missing something or is it possible I got some defective bulbs?

Try reversing the wires on the AE connector.

What exactly did you modify. The connector is keyed so I'm curious as to how you altered it.

LEDs only work with the proper side positive and negatives current. However or wherever you do it reverse the wire to make the other side of the connection the positive side. In my case I was adding AEs so it there were no connectors and I test wired the AEs to make sure they were correct.

Yeah I figured as much, I didn't try and switch the wires around yesterday cause I ran out of time and figured that since the connectors were keyed I couldn't plug them in differently. However this morning I tested them with a 9V battery and they lit up no problem. Went out and found out that even though they are keyed I could reverse the direction they were plugged in and they worked no problem, thanks guys.
