Installed reman a/c compressor. Fuse 48 blown

Ok so yesterday I had a remanufactured a/c compressor installed. Mechanic said all is good, pressure etc... As I was driving home I noticed it's just not as cold as before. Couple hrs later after getting home I headed out run errands and right away it was blowing hot air and a few seconds later the whole a/c heater controllers shut down. Checked for blown fuse and found #48 was bad. Replaced it and soon after it would burn up. Tried using 10amp fuse 15 and 20 with same results.
Never had this issue until I purchase the reman compressor.
Is there any other possible issues that someone can advise. Please help it is getting really hot in Arizona.
