SO, I got the metal surround (housing), ring clamps, rubber elbow and a little re-usable K&N little air filter D401-0304 (which is useless for me I believe). But $250 and buying a Dinan filter (D403-0410)myself is still cheaper than an AFE set-up.
The filters are very dirty so I just washed them twice in Dawn dish detergent and let them air dry. Will install this weekend. price for new filter is just $40 USD but shipping to me is $32 USD so I'll just wait till im in Vegas this winter to get free shipping to hotel. why not right... Also the seller has a Dinan exhaust set-up from mid point connection back that he is selling for $600... I have a 4.8iS exhaust on my X5 now so I'm wondering if any difference in sounds to go to that Dinan exhaust set-up? No I'm not cutting the factory Resonators out and putting an X or H pipe in.
