DSC light has probably come on because the sensors are out of line front to rear now and so the control module thinks the rear air suspension has gone caput. This is why I disconnected my rears and just positioned the level to just above the level of the the fronts. Worth a look anyway.

If you got a DSC light, get the DTC read for the light. It may be the height sensor or it may be something else.

Nice I like the stance. Are you running on KW's?

With the dsc you may need to turn steering wheel lock to lock, or just clear the code with inpa.

Happend on mine back in the day when i was messing around with ride height in the early days..

Right now mine is slammed 100% aired out in the front, and rears only have some air to make it level cause i turned off the whole air system, my front right popped so waiting on the new one.

but no dsc error.

When on the main screen click on "Units" on the top of the screen
Then click on "LCM"
Then click on "Coding Data"
Then click on "Check/Control Messages"
Now you will be in a menu to check/uncheck which error messages you want to appear on the dash.
Just uncheck the "SELFLEVEL SUPS.INACT" box then click on "Write" at the bottom right of the screen and thats it done!
Now just exit the software as normal and fire the car up and the error message on the dash will be non existant :-)

Hope this helps and let me know how you get on.

Cheers,

Raj

Hi Raj,

I've just done this but the error message still hasn't left my dashboard. I've tried clearing all errors and repeating this process but still no joy. Any other suggestions?

Thanks

J

Hi J.

The error will overrule the removal of the check control if it thinks there is a fundamental failure somewhere in the system.

So it depends if all your level sensors are still inline front to back as before you lowered it (if that's what you've done). Or the central control module may playing up. It's hard to say without seeing it in person.

Thanks,

Raj.

Thanks for the quick response!

I bought the car at auction and the previous owner has changed the suspension for springs so in all honesty at the moment I'm not sure if it's all as should be or not .

Do you have any other errors or just the suspension inactive one?
If no others then I'd say check the sensors in the first instance of course after getting the errors read (as you may find reading the errors may highlights the issue straight away).

After that it's a matter of step by step checking different components etc to try and source the route cause.

Hope that helps.
