Anyone ever swapped black seats into a tan interior X5?

I have an 02 X5--Oxford Green with tan interior. The tan interior is pretty darn shot. The driver seat leather is cracked and the carpet has seen better days. I already got new black BMW floor mats.

I have access to a free black interior. I don't really feel like swapping every door panel and the headliner and A-pillars etc.

What about just swapping the front and rear seats? Has anyone seen black seats in a car with tan carpeting, tan center console, etc????

If you have seen it--point me in the right direction for pictures, please!

We did this in my Father in laws 92 320i, it looks pretty good, the lighter dash and doors really provide nice contrast, we did change out the seatbelts too. the tan ones looked pretty bad in there.
and hey, its a free interior!

I am an e38 guy too and I love the beige or even better the pearl beige seats in a black car. I have never seen the back seats in a tan interior though.

Interior is free, but it is a lot of work.

Also, the black seats are heated. Mine does not have heated. I can get the panel as well. Think my car is already wired for the heated seats?

If the e38 doesnt have existing heated seats I think you have to run the wires.

I need a gray rear seat bottom for my X5. P/O put a lawnmower battery on it, and who'd have thunk acid did not agree with the leather.

Not the E38--I meant the X5.
