You can get LED angel eye bulbs for even cheaper than that with about the same brightness as the optics of the E53 angel eyes don't allow for much increase despite the bulb claims

Yea I've heard that the limiting factor is the optics of the angel eyes themselves.

I just installed a pair of 10 watts from ebay. They are NOT brighter at all, but they change the yellow AA to white AAs.
