Confusion on lowering links

05 4.4 coils front, bags rear

Just have a question about lowering links. Will installing 4 lowering links work on this set up w/o causing a suspension inactive light and be able to be aligned properly? I Don't want bad tire wear or want to slam it. Just drop it and inch to take out some wheel gap. Thanks!

Lowering links is to fool the computer into lower the ride height. You can not use it to lower the front sine they are springs and struts combo.
You will need to put on the lowering springs, and if I were you, I would skip the lowering spring and just have it coded to lower the rear.
Bad tire wear (inner?) is caused by toe-in setting more than negative camber.

I went the H&R lowering kit route. It was no problem to get it aligned within specs. Pictures are in my album.
The following may be of help: http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...lots-pics.html
